Leonie Strecker (b. 1995, Düsseldorf) is a composer and sound artist based in Vienna. Working across electroacoustic composition, performance and spatial sound, her practice investigates perceptual instability, sonic emergence and processes of interference through synthetic, concrete and instrumental materials. Her works often focus on threshold states between presence and disappearance, exploring sound as a dynamic field of layered temporal and spatial relations.
Her work has been presented at La Biennale di Venezia, Den Frie Centre for Contemporary Art, Kunstsammlung Nordrhein-Westfalen and deSingel, among others. Her debut album Chroma was released on LINE in 2026.
She studied electroacoustic composition in Rome and Düsseldorf and graduated from the University of Music and Performing Arts Graz.
